Privacy Policy

The short version

  • No account. You never sign up and we never ask for your name or email in the game.
  • Your careers stay on your iPhone. Saves, clubs, settings and any league edits are stored on your device. We cannot see them.
  • No ads, no tracking. There are no ads, no analytics SDKs and no advertising identifier (IDFA). We never ask for App Tracking Transparency permission.
  • Purchases go through Apple. RevenueCat checks what you have bought using an anonymous ID.
  • Ad measurement without tracking. If you found the game through an ad, Apple's privacy-preserving attribution tells us which campaign worked, never who you are.

1. Who we are

Footy President is an iPhone game provided by Nghia Le, trading as LilGroup ("LilGroup", "we", "us"), based in Adelaide, South Australia. This policy covers the Footy President iOS app and this website. Contact: oscar.lehuu@gmail.com.

2. Data stored on your iPhone

Everything you create in the game stays on your device: your careers and saves, the club you run, league edits and app settings. We do not upload any of it and we cannot access it. Deleting the app deletes this data.

3. Purchases

Go Pro and other optional items are sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple processes your payment; we never receive your card details, Apple ID, name or email.

We use RevenueCat to check which purchases are active and to restore them. The app gives RevenueCat an anonymous, randomly generated app user ID together with your App Store purchase information (which product, when, the price and the store receipt) and basic technical data such as device model, iOS version, app version, country and IP address.

4. Measuring our own advertising

We advertise Footy President on Apple Search Ads and other ad networks. To learn which ads work without tracking you:

  • Apple Search Ads attribution. Once per install the app asks Apple's AdServices framework for an attribution token and passes it to RevenueCat, which exchanges it with Apple for campaign-level information (for example the campaign and keyword that led to the download). The token does not contain your identity and does not use the IDFA.
  • SKAdNetwork and AdAttributionKit. The app updates a small conversion value (for example "finished onboarding" or "bought Go Pro") through Apple's frameworks. Apple sends ad networks an anonymous, delayed and aggregated postback; neither we nor the networks learn who you are.

RevenueCat may forward anonymous purchase events to ad networks' conversion APIs so they can count sales from campaigns. These events carry the anonymous app user ID and purchase details, never your name, email or IDFA.

5. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write. We use it only to reply and delete the conversation within 12 months of your last message.

6. What we never do

  • We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
  • We do not show third-party ads in the game.
  • We do not use the IDFA or track you across other companies' apps and websites.
  • We do not use your data to train AI models. The game has no AI features.

7. Who receives data

ProviderWhat it receivesWhy
ApplePayment and purchase data; attribution and conversion valuesPayments, refunds, privacy-preserving ad measurement
RevenueCat (US)Anonymous app user ID, purchase information, attribution tokenChecking and restoring purchases; campaign-level attribution

We may disclose information if the law requires it. If the game is sold or transferred, this policy continues to apply.

8. How long we keep data

  • On your iPhone: until you delete it or the app.
  • Purchase records at RevenueCat and Apple: as long as needed to provide your purchases, plus the period tax and accounting law requires.
  • Support emails: up to 12 months after your last message.

9. Children

Footy President is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information in the game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Purchases need the approval of whoever controls the Apple ID, and Apple's Ask to Buy and Screen Time controls apply.

10. Your rights

Australia. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). You can ask to access or correct your information or make a complaint by emailing us; we aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

EU, EEA and UK. LilGroup is the controller of the limited data above. We rely on performance of a contract (providing your purchases) and our legitimate interest in measuring our advertising. You have the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object and port your data, and to complain to your data protection authority.

California. We collect identifiers (an anonymous app user ID) and commercial information (purchases). We do not sell or share personal information. You can ask to know, delete or correct it, and we will not discriminate against you for asking.

Because there are no accounts, we may hold nothing linked to you. Tell us the approximate purchase date and we will try to find the anonymous record.

11. Changes

We will update the date above when this policy changes, and tell you in the game for important changes.
